Domestic Violence Awareness

32-DV event_DSC_0032October of 2021, the City of Rahway in partnership with the YWCA of Union County, held it’s 1st Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Event. This event helped to:

  • Break the silence and shame associated with domestic violence
  • Display and discuss resources that are readily available to residents who find themselves in a domestic violence situation 
  • Connect agencies and individuals working to bring awareness to domestic violence in surrounding areas
  • Amplify the voices of domestic violence survivors and advocates
